Restart Outlook to check if it still crashes while sending mails. After successful repair, following message is displayed. upon re-enabling offline files the problem immediately reappeared. After the scan, if SCANPST.EXE finds errors, click ‘ Repair’. when i disabled Offline Files the problem went away. the laptop is a member of a windows 2003 Domain, and i have group policy's set to redirect their desktop, Documents and Favorites to their home folder. I did figure out that it has something to do with Sync'd files in windows. i can print a PDF using Adobe or Primo and send it to them and it opens fine. The identity key should be listed under the Computer\HKEYCURRENTUSER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity\Identities registry path, but the key is empty in cases when Outlook is. ![]() The strange part is that it is only PDF's that are sent from a Copier at a different location. ![]() Uncheck any unwanted add-ins and then click OK to preserve the settings. First, open the Outlook application and go to the File menu. the issue i am having is that when the user tries to open a PDF in outlook the laptop hangs, i am unable to end the process OUTLOOK.exe and eventually have to hard power the laptop off. Now, in order to accomplish this manually, follow the steps provided. the laptop is running windows 7 Pro with Office 2010. I have a strange problem i am hoping somebody can help me with, i just setup a laptop for a customer. ![]()
